Live Oak in Charleston, SC. Because of the distance, the majority of the arrangements were done via phone with Eunice Hawkins. Eunice was a pleasure to work with, and she was professional, thorough, and kind. The only complaint I had is that the table for the flowers and photos was too small(I had made it clear that the table size was important and why it was important). Now, the actual service was a different story. I had only been at this cemetery once or twice in the past so I was taken back of the condition of the grounds. Others that attended this interment were offended as well. In addition, my Mother-in-law's sister was a Veteran who was buried in your Veterans Garden. My MIL was buried directly next to her sister so, her sister's marker was pretty much a part of our interment service. We were dismayed at the condition of her sister's marker. In fact, the aesthetics in the entire area around our service were appalling. We were also dismayed that a large CRUMPLED tarp was in plain view of our family and guests. I assume it was covering the dirt, but it was offensive and there are much better ways to cover the dirt. It is sad that we put so much effort into planning a beautiful ceremony for my husbands Mother to have the aesthetics ruined.
