  One of the hardest things in life was when our beloved Katie Bug, a 16 year old Shiba Inu, let us know that she could not win her battle with cancer. Her vet confirmed that and with heavy broken hearts we relieved her of her suffering. I had researched local pet services for the occasion and had decided on McAlister-Smith Pet Cremation for several reasons. It was sealed when I first spoke to them and heard the genuine care and concern for the care of Katie Bug's remains and our concerns that she be handled properly. We delivered the remains of our beloved pet ourselves. The staff met us with genuine concern and cared for Katie with great dignity and respect. When all was completed they called for us to come for Katie Bug's urn and delivered her to us with sincere compassion. Katie now looks over the yard she loved to roam.
  We thank McAlister-Smith staff for all they did for her and for us. We would immediately and highly recommend them to anyone who cared for their pet as we did for our Katie Bug, who is sorely missed.
