  This is a locally owned, family run business that will treat you like family during a difficult time. The staff is warm, compassionate, and professional. I would highly recommend this business.

  do not do business with palmetto cremation society.
  do not utilize the services offered by this organization.
  my family friend had the worst experience with the individuals that work at this establishment.
  go to another funeral home in the area. these people are unprofessional.
  they swindled my friend out of hundreds of dollars paid for services. most of their "positive" reviews on here are made by individuals that work at the facility.
  completely underhanded people.
  to swindle individuals that are trying to grieve their dead is quite a lowdown thing.

  I could not be more grateful for Palmetto Cremation Society, especially Mary. They took amazing care of my deceased loved one, as well as my entire family. Palmetto Cremation went above and beyond during the process to enable my family to heal and know my loved one's body was cared for with the utmost respect. Again, thank you.   I am clergy and I had occasion recently to officiate at a memorial service at Palmetto Cremation. The staff were very accommodating and the family was very pleased with the services. Having served as a chaplain in the community for over 20 years I have experienced Palmetto Cremation and McAlister-Smith Funeral Homes to be highly professional and compassionate so much so that I have used them twice for my own family members and they will continue to care for my family when the need arises.
